HDR PHOTO MERGER

1. Is there something you see in the photo above that you think could be a problem when you take your photos? Look carefully. You have to make sure your camera does not move at all during your photos because It will move the background which could ruin your photo. Also watch out for shadows. 2. Where do you think would be a great place to take this type of picture here on the Bowie campus? I think out on the field could work, or on the tennis courts where there are solid colors. 3. Can you think of something creative to actually DO in the photo when you take yours? You could jump, get on different levels, as well as depths. 4. Is there something you could wear that would help you when you do this photo? Maybe different outfits each pose so that it looks really cool and different.

1. You will need to adjust shutter speed and aperture as well as exposure bracketing. 2. You will need a tripod to stabilize your camera to keep it from moving, also it is recommended to have HDR blending software. 3. Someone might take an HDR photo to capture creative and neat photos that aren't just a snapshot that doesn't have anything really to it. It is also capture something that is going to stay in place for a while. 4.(Ex. the stars) You can't capture stars the first time you take a photo of them, but if you take a series of photos and then overlap them, like in HDR photos, eventually you will see the stars.

    Does your homework load ever feel like the world is literally on your shoulders? For me, everyday I groan in how heavy my body feels carrying the stress of remembering what I have to do that night for my classes. The amount of school work we are required to do after school hours is ridiculous.     Homework is something that is given out by our professors and teachers daily. Either unfinished class work, notes, lessons, or projects, homework isn't a task that we can opt out of. As teachers are human too, most of the time when they give out hours of homework I question whether they have a life or not.      I am confused as to how 90 minutes is not enough to teach a lesson and get some practice in? The fact that in some circumstances teachers have THE STUDENTS teach themselves the lesson for homework is besides the point of being a teacher isn't it? 1.   Reading through these websites was mainly a review for me. A while back, I taught myself how to use iMovie and use it very frequently to edit my video montage projects that I do for fun. Although the websites did go more into depth about fun features I was not very aware of before.       From the websites, I did learn that you could change the dimensions of your video, for I didn't know you could. I also learned that the term "playhead" is used for the yellow line that is wherever your mouse goes. 2. The website explained how to add voiceovers to a video and photos, which I already knew how to do. 3.     This year, Bowie High School announced their student of the month: Peyton Barry. Besides the countless amount of hours she spends studying, Peyton focuses on family and friends. Peyton goes above and beyond to get her school work done, and is always finding new ways to try and better herself.     Not only does Peyton base her life mainly around school, she also participates in many after school activities! She does lacrosse here at Bowie as a freshman, and was recently moved up to varsity for her great athletic talent! At their game on Saturday, Peyton scored 2 of the 5 total goals made during the play!! Peyton also balances club soccer outside of school and is a hard working goalie! During her busy days, Peyton still manages "[to] study for 3 hours per class" every night. PER CLASS!! Yet she states she receives descent sleep and makes straight A's!     The odd word nut graf, is used to represent the subject of the story.  The term nut graf refers to the paragraph that sort of sums up the theme of a story.  Essentially the "newsworthy" part of a story. Having a strong nut graf is really a necessity if you want a good story. The whole story is interesting, but the nut graf is where most of the need-to-know information will be read.     In many stories, the nut graf is where it says why the story matters. The nut graf most of the time is written in a news format and anwers who, what, when, where, why, and how pretty quickly. You DO NOT mention in your nut graf, the ending of a story. No spoilers!!

1. Jordan Murph - sports - irrelevant photos, better selective story focus,  better focus on subjects -good color, captivating - i liked how raw some of the photos were, they were crazy cool! Warm up 1. I like this statement because it is true to what is going on in the world. I agree with this statement because we as a group of people who DO define their area about what they buy and things while we need to be looking at the landscape and the creativity around us. This really makes me want to go out and look loser at the building and photograph architecture differently than I have ever before. 2. The photos were interesting and yes I would like to photograph some of it, but other parts of the city seem a bit too much color and pop for my taste. 3.If my parents worked a place  like this, I would probably feel like I was in Candy Land or a fantasy land 24/7 with all the colors, toys, and dolls. 4. AISD Begins Search for a Principal to take on Permanent Position Bowies current principal,  Ms. Leos, is unfortunately leaving at the end of this 2016-2017 school year. Beginning January 31 of this year, the long process of picking and choosing begun. There is many candidates that are at the level of knowledge and readiness for the position, but there are very explicit things a principal of a high school must have. 1. My favorite newspaper I came across was one from Bismark, North Dakota called "The Bismark Tribune." This one is my favorite because it has eye capturing photos and not over taking text that looks too wordy. Also it has a calm color scheme that is nice to the eye. 2. My favorite headline from the newspaper is "Panda cub Bao Bao bound for China" because it is about pandas, and who doesn't want to read about a baby panda named Bao Bao? 3. There are 3 main stories on my front page, and a long caption to a photo. 4. All the newspapers I looked at have around 4 stories on the front page, 2-3 photos, and one dominant headlining story. 5. Something very different between all the newspapers is obviously language, and how the pages are laid out. All of them have different layouts which make them unique. 1. The website I picked among the 7 websites is called Fstoppers. It is essentially a photography community for photographers to post videos of lessons, and their work. Also, there are videos that are new and different things photographers have tried. Some videos include, " Maxmax Launches Monochrome Fujifilm X-Pro1 and X100S " and " How to Quickly and Easily Create Your Own Photoshop Actions ." What I believe the intention of the authors of the website were, was to create more a less a social hub for photographers to become known and for learning photographers to come and gain information and ideas. An average person can gain basic camera techniques, and even some unique ones that aren't normal to learn right away! I actually already added this website to my bookmarks because it could definitely come in handy in the future! I would definitely recommend this website to an already photography experienced person because the website has some really dope stuff on it!
