Phobia Project
A. Phobia is an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something.
B. -Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.
- Consecotaleophobia- Fear of chopsticks.
-Ephebiphobia- Fear of teenagers.
- Paraskavedekatriaphobia- Fear of Friday the 13th.
-Nephophobia- Fear of clouds.
C. For my first phobia, which is the dark (Achluophobia) I will take photos of my dad in dark, but with a black light on, so that he is still visible but you can see the purpose of the darkness. I will most likely do it in a non lit room, or outside at night. How I will show phobia is that it will be taken in a semi scary looking area and I will maybe have someone or a shadow like thing hiding around in the background giving the photo more context.
My second fear is of spiders (Arachnephobia). I am still deciding on how I am going to display this phobia because there is NO WAY I am getting near a spider or anything of the sort. But I might do some sort of shadow thing with my sister in it, to show someone afraid. I might just need to end up finding some spiders...
My final phobia is of cruise ships. Now there is not a certain word for this phobia, but what I have been telling people is that I am an aquaphobian. Someone who is afraid of water. I am not necessarily afraid of water, I am just scared of what could happen, but I still swim and all that stuff. What I am planning on doing is getting my underwater camera and taking some shots of someone, maybe a friend pretending to "struggle to swim" under the water. I would do this during the day so I would have good lighting.
D. For Achluophobia I am going to be focusing on the rule of thirds because I think that will go best with the fear.
For Arachnephobia I am going to focus on cropping and lines, creating a frightening look.
For Aquaphobiai I will focus on simplicity and maybe a hint of depth.
